The IES College of Fellows (CoF) harnesses and mobilises the collective experience and expertise of IES Fellows to impart skills and transfer knowledge to the community, and in so doing, and raise the profile of IES.

Mentoring is an important pillar of IES. The CoF helps members develop professionally and supports the IES Incubator and Accelerator (IES-INCA), a strategic initiative to mentor and assist engineers in their technopreneurship journey.

The CoF also advises, comments upon, and communicates proposed engineering solutions that help enhance processes within the industry, and solves national challenges.

To be the leading champion on the art and science of engineering and the developer of engineers of the future.

Mission
To harness and direct the collective knowledge base and expertise of IES Fellows towards educating the engineers of the future.

Objectives
~ Mentoring IES members in professional development, entrepreneurship, and
   service to IES and the community

~ Promoting and transferring IES technical knowledge, and the arts and science of 
   engineering

~ Championing IES strategic thrusts and engineering enterprise

~ Raising awareness of IES activities and ideals among engineers and professionals

~ Commenting on and communicating IES proposed solutions to enhance
   productivity and to solve industry problems to benefit the national economy

~ Assisting in reviewing and contributing to IES technical materials and information
   dissemination

~ Lending support to IES outreach and international programmes

~ Assisting in growing the IES Academy
