On 31 March 2026, a significant milestone was reached for Singapore’s transport ecosystem. In partnership with the Singapore Standards Council, Enterprise Singapore and the Land Transport Authority (LTA), officially published the SS 722:2026 series – four new standards designed to scale our EV infrastructure. The Institution of Engineers, Singapore – Standards Development Organisation (IES-SDO) managed the development of these standards.

The SS 722 series, which replaces Technical Reference (TR) 25, supports the development of safe, interoperable, and future-ready EV charging infrastructure, covering key technologies such as DC fast charging, wireless charging, battery swapping, and mobile charging.
