We are proud to be the co-organiser of the NUS CEE70 Symposium, held on October 10 at Marina Bay Sands to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the NUS Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE).

For seven decades, NUS CEE has been instrumental in shaping Singapore’s transformation, from pioneering infrastructure to advancing sustainability and resilience. This year’s symposium brings together leaders from government, academia and industry to reflect on milestones and envision the future of engineering in nation-building.

IES’ long-standing partnership with NUS includes initiatives such as:
🔹 IES–NUS Student Chapter – nurturing future engineers through mentorship and industry exposure.
🔹 Global Engineers Leadership Programme (GELP) – equipping senior engineers for executive leadership roles.
🔹 YC Wong–IES Research Fund – a $300,000 contribution supporting postgraduate research for a safer and more sustainable built environment.
