The IES–Standards Development Organisation (IES-SDO), in collaboration with the Singapore Standards Council and Enterprise Singapore officially introduced the new TR 141:2025 and the revised SS 553:2026 and SS 554:2026 to over 500 industry professionals as part of the World Engineering Day 2026: Charles Rudd Distinguished Global Lectures (WED 2026: CRDGL) at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on 10 March 2026.

These standards represent years of collaboration across industry, academia, and government. By adopting these benchmarks, we are taking a proactive step toward:

– Innovating with hybrid cooling solutions with TR 141
– Lowering carbon emissions with SS 553
– Enhancing indoor air quality with SS 554 for better occupant health
