The World Engineers Summit (WES) 2025 officially commenced today at Orchard Hotel Singapore, bringing together almost 600 global leaders, policymakers, academics and industry experts to exchange ideas and drive solutions for climate-resilient, intelligent and inclusive cities.

Graced by Mr Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office and Deputy Secretary-General, NTUC, the opening ceremony set the stage for three days of impactful dialogue and collaboration under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow: Engineering Smart Sustainable Cities.”

Now in its seventh edition, WES has become one of the world’s leading platforms for knowledge-sharing in engineering.
