• II. Application for Certification

  All applications shall be accompanied with:

  A fully completed prescribed application form which can be dowloaded here or obtained in hardcopy from IES.

  Criteria for Certification

  Level Pre-Requisites Education IES Membership Relevant Experiences In Project Management Associate CPE IES/TP Professional Certificate in Project Management (Validity: 3 years) or Certified Project Management Studies (Validity: 5 years) Fellow NA Senior Member Member Associate CPE IES/TP Professional Certificate in Project Management (Validity: 3 years) or Certified Project Management Studies (Validity: 5 years) Fellow 1 year Senior Member Member Associate 2 years CPM IES/TP Professional Certificate in Project Management (Validity: 3 years) or Certified Project Management Studies (Validity: 5 years) or Master Degree in Project Management or equivalent or Certified Project Manager Professional ( PMP®) Fellow 3years Experienced Report (Total Project Value >$10M) Senior Member Member Associate 5 years Experienced Report (Total Project Value >$10M)

  For new applicants, please attach the following supporting documents:

  1.   CV

  2.   A copy of IES membership certificate;

  3.   A copy of academic qualifications e.g University Degree or Diploma etc.

  4.   A copy of either of the following qualifications:

  • Professional Certificate in Project Management issued jointly by IES/Temasek Polytechnic after successful completion of not more than 3 years

  OR

  • Master Degree in Project Management or equivalent

  OR

  • Certified Project Manager Professional (PMP®)

  5.  CPM Experience Report (For CPM Application Only) detailing project management experience, duly certified by immediate supervisor.

  For renewal applicants, 

  1.  Please remain in continuous practice in project management profession on a full time basis and in IES Membership.

  2.  With effect from 1 February 2012, Continuous Professional Development Units (PDUs) are not required.

• IV. Processing Time & Forms
