Conferred by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, this top national honour recognises Er. Lee’s decades of visionary leadership in sustainability, green building innovation, and national infrastructure planning.
 
As an esteemed IES Fellow, Er. Lee has been a cornerstone of the IES family for decades. He served on the IES Council for over 10 years, held the post of IES Vice President from 1995 to 2006, and was honored with the IES-IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence in 2019.

2-Day Workshop on Basic Design of Concrete Structures - EC:2024 vs EC2 (1st Edition)
Organised by IES Civil & Structural Engineering Technical Committee
 
With the introduction of the second generation of Eurocodes, structural engineers need to understand the key changes in EC0, EC1 and EC2 and their impact on the design of reinforced concrete structures.
 
Join us for this 2-day practical workshop conducted by Professor Kang Hai Tan from Nanyang Technological University, where participants will gain practical insights into structural design principles, load combinations, structural analysis, second-order effects, flexural and shear design, punching shear, column design, and detailing requirements under the updated Eurocodes.
