Over 200 members, partners and friends gathered at IES HQ to celebrate the Lunar New Year — and what a vibrant evening it was! Charles Rudd Distinguished Global Lectures 2026
In celebration of World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development 2026
 
In celebration of UNESCO’s Declaration of the World Engineering Day (WED) on 4th March, the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) is partnering with Ngee Ann Polytechnic in organising the World Engineering Day 2026: Charles Rudd Distinguished Global Lectures (WED 2026: CRDGL) on 10 March 2026 (Tue) at the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Convention Centre, from 9am to 5pm.

World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development (WED 2026)
 
Dear Members,
 
The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) and the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII) are extending the invitation to IES members to attend the main global celebration of the World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development (WED 2026), to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 3 to 5 March 2026 (Tuesday to Thursday).

Survey on Project Management in the Construction Industry of Singapore by NTU
 
Dear Members,
 
Nanyang Technological University is currently conducting a research study on project management practices in the construction industry. This survey is part of the IES-YC Wong Fund for Research in Construction Project Management, a collaborative initiative between NTU and IES. The research aims to enhance construction project management methodologies and establish best practice guidelines for Singapore's construction industry.
