IES Scholarship 2026 Is Now Open For Application
 
The Institution of Engineers, Singapore Scholarship (“IES Scholarship”) is established to support deserving Singapore citizens or permanent residents pursuing full-time undergraduate engineering/technology-related degree in local universities, full-time engineering/technology- related diploma programmes in local polytechnics and, full-time Nitec and Higher Nitec programmes in Engineering or technology-related programme in the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

Application is now open. Closing date is 25 August 2026.

A Successful Day of Knowledge Sharing at the IES–LTA Seminar on Lean Construction: Station Rejuvenation Works!
 
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this seminar, jointly organised by the IES Civil & Structural Technical Committee and Transportation & Traffic Division in collaboration with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 13 July 2026.

The seminar brought together engineers and industry professionals to exchange ideas on the use of Lean Construction to deliver station rejuvenation works more efficiently and safely.

Advancing Singapore's EV Charging Future with the Launch of the SS 722:2026 Series
 
The IES Standards Development Organisation (IES-SDO) was honoured to launch the SS 722:2026 Series, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Singapore's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

Organised by IES-SDO in collaboration with the Singapore Standards Council, Enterprise Singapore and the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the launch event on 13 July 2026 brought together more than 120 industry professionals to exchange insights on the latest developments in EV charging technologies, infrastructure and standards.
