Congratulations to Dr Neo Kok Beng on his appointment as Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP)!
 
The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) extends our warmest congratulations to Dr Neo Kok Beng on his appointment as a Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP). Dr Neo, founder and chief executive of NEO Aeronautics, was sworn in at the first sitting of Parliament in 2026.
 
Dr Neo is a Fellow and a former Vice President of IES. He also serves on the IES-INCA Board of Advisors and played a key role in the launch of the Young Engineers Leadership Programme (YELP) in collaboration with NTUC in 2014, supporting the development of future engineering leaders.

Railway Innovation Seminar 2026
 
Building on the success of the 2023 and 2024 Railway Innovation Seminars, The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) and the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) are collaborating once again to present a two-day seminar and technical visit on railway innovation and sustainability. Previous editions featured international speakers from the UK, Spain and Malaysia, reflecting the seminar’s strong industry relevance.
