Certification Course for Piling Personnel (for Piling Engineering & above)

The course aims to provide the necessary training for the key supervisory personnel for piling industry. It also serves to certify the trained candidate to be qualified to serve in the piling industry as technical manager, piling engineer, site operation supervisor, certification body technical auditor, and other relevant position, as required by Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) CT31 and CT32 on Certification on Specialist Builders (Piling) Scheme.  
This course is one of the key components in “Certification on Specialist Builders (Piling) Scheme” contributes toward enhancing the piling professionalism, improving quality of piling works for safety of buildings on piles, and ensuring competencies of the piling companies in Singapore.

Target Audience

For attending and passing the test:
Certified Piling Personnel (CPP): Piling Technical Managers, Piling Engineers, Piling Supervisors, Qualified Piling Professionals (QPP): PE (Civil), Certification Bodies (Technical Expert).

For general groups who have interest to attend:
Developers, Consultants, PE(Geo), General Contractors, Certification Bodies (Auditor), Piling Supervisors, Assistant Engineers, Piling Engineers, Resident Engineers, Public Officers involved in piling approvals, supervision/management, etc.

Please note that Piling Contractors and other participants shall get themselves familiarized with the requirement on Section 5 & Table 5.1 of CT32: SAC Criteria for Specialist Builders (SB) - Piling Works (PW); particularly for meeting requirements on qualification and piling experience. Attending the Course and passing the Test is only partial fulfillment for registration as Certified Piling Personnel (CPP) of Piling Contractors with IES/GeoSS after successfully passing the Test.

Piling Contractors are also advised to apply to Certification Body (CB)-Piling Works, whenever they are ready to be audited and certified as SB (PW).

Please note that QPP cannot be appointed as CB (Technical Expert); CB(Technical Expert) cannot serve as QPP for the SB(PW) at the same time. Please register with IES/GeoSS accordingly after successfully passing the Test for the registry of QPP and CB(Technical Expert). 

Certification Bodies are to be accredited by SAC Accreditation Panel accordingly under CT31 for an Accreditation Scheme for Certification Bodies.
