Description:
Safety in construction sites is of paramount importance not only to protect oneself but also to ensure the safety of fellow personnel on site.
This programme is designed for stakeholders in construction projects (WSH Officers, Resident Engineers, Resident Technical Officers and Site Supervisors) and it discusses the role technology plays in construction safety at various site operations. It also explains how technology can be used to mitigate hazards and make daily site activities safe for all stakeholders
OBJECTIVES
Participants will be able to supervise and/or carry out daily site operations with a focus on safety. They will able to identify the types of technology that can be used to mitigate the adverse effects of hazards. They will have knowledge on the role technology can play in ensuring safety on a construction site.
