Join us at the IES Charles Rudd Distinguished Public Lectures this year! Themed 'Transitioning to a Net-Zero World', the lecture will cover four topics, viz. Green Plan, Circular Economy, ESG and Green Finance.

Transition to net-zero will affect all sectors of the economy and requires a holistic view and collective effort across an ecosystem that includes government, businesses, customers, and communities.

National Engineers Day (NED) 2023:
Shaping a Circular Economy Through Engineering

15-26 August 2023, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Annually celebrated since 2010, NED is back for its 14th edition this coming August. The National Engineers Day 2023 aims to recognize the achievements of young engineers, to inspire them, and nurture a keen interest in engineering.

NED also incorporates the Engineering Innovation Challenge (EIC), a nation-wide competition where students work on a theme-based project for students to gain hands-on experience in developing innovative solutions to address real-world problems, with this year's theme being Engineering for Resilient City Living.
