| Appointment of Er. Tan Seng Chuan as WFEO President-Elect (2023-2025) |

Heartiest congratulations to IES Emeritus President, Er. Tan Seng Chuan for the successful election as the President-Elect (for the period of 2023-2025) of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO)! Er. Tan will officially take the position of President for the period of 2025-2027.
Er. Tan is an accomplished engineer by profession and a passionate and dynamic leader in multiple capacities and portfolios. He has actively served the international engineering community since 2007 and has made many remarkable contributions especially in the areas of engineering education, capacity-building, environmental and sustainability.
With his strong vision and rich experience serving in various capacities in WFEO, FEIAP, APEC Engineers and IEA over the past 16 years, Er. Tan will no doubt bring tremendous value to WFEO and set the stage for the global engineering community to scale to even greater heights under his leadership. The successful election has propelled IES and the country of Singapore upwards into the global engineering stage. Once again, our greatest congratulations to Er. Tan on this well-deserved achievement. |

Survey on: Competency Model for Singapore Project Managers in the era of Industry 4.0 This project is funded by The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) - Wong Yui Cheong Research in Construction Project Management Fund. Calling all construction project managers! This survey aims to identify the key competencies required for construction project managers to succeed in their roles in the new digital era.
Conducted in two phases, the interviewee will select from a pool of competency candidate items in the first phase, and asked to rank the selected competencies in the second. To meet the statistical threshold, phase 2 may be conducted for several rounds until the threshold is met.
