IES 56th AGM: 28 May 2022 (Sat), 1.00pm onwards

The IES 56th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 28 May 2022 (Saturday), 1.00 pm, via the Zoom platform. Registration will begin from 11.00am onwards.

If you wish to attend, please sign up here by Saturday, 21 May 2022. A confirmation email with the AGM access link will be sent to you within 24 hours after registration.

Please submit the completed e-Proxy Form latest by Thursday, 26 May 2022 if you are unable to attend the AGM.

IES Directory 2022 Now Available for Collection 

The 2022 edition of the IES Directory is now available for collection at the IES Main Building (70 Bukit Tinggi Road) and IES Academy (Devan Nair Institute of Employment and Employability, 80 Jurong East St 21, #04-10).

Members are entitled to one copy. Kindly present your Membership Card and ID number for verifcation. Collection hours are from Mondays to Fridays, 9.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00pm - 5.30pm, excluding public holidays.

The e-copy can be accessed online by logging in to the Members' Portal.

 

CAFEO 40: Call for Papers 
 
The theme for this year's CAFEO, hosted by the Board of Engineers Cambodia (BEC), is 'The changing roles of engineers in Industry 4.0 era’. BEC is calling for abstract submissions for presentations during the conference.

Recruitment for Biomedical Engineering Technical Committee (BETC) Members

A part of the IES Manufacturing Cluster, the BETC aims to promote and develop the field in close relation to the healthcare and medtech industry. This is accomplished through the provision of expertise and suggestions in the development of relevant practices and technologies, as well as engagement with the government, private sector, and academia to build a network of key stakeholders.

The committee is now looking for dynamic individuals who would like to participate in its activities to support, develop, and advance this field. Interested individuals may write in to Ms Amelia Yeo at amelia.yeo@iesnet.org.sg for further details.
