IES Operating Hours over Lunar New Year Period
 
Dear members, kindly note the following operating hours for both IES and IESA over Lunar New Year:
 
11 Feb (Thu) (Lunar New Year’s Eve): 9.00am – 1.00pm
12 Feb (Fri) (Lunar New Year): CLOSED
15 Feb (Mon): CLOSED
16 Feb (Tue) onwards: Business resumes as per normal

Collection of IES Desktop Calendar 2021 
 
The IES Desktop Calendar 2021 has been printed and is now ready for collection. Members may do so from 9.30am - 12.30pm and 2.00pm - 5.30pm on weekdays at either IES or IES Academy. 

Each member is entitled to one copy of the calendar, while stocks last.

The Singapore Engineer magazine
is going fully digital!

 
As part of IES’ effort to go green and do its part for environment sustainability, The Singapore Engineer (TSE) magazine will be going fully digital starting Feb 2021, with TSE Jan 2021 being the last print issue. You will still be able to access it through our monthly emailer (both the PDF and the interactive reader version on ISSUU), through the ISSUU mobile app, or online at ies.org.sg.

[FOR FEEDBACK] Draft Guide on Remote Site Supervision


BCA is working with ACES, IES and SCAL to devise a standard guide on Remote Site Supervision for the industry. It aims to provide guidance and minimum requirements for supervisors in conducting remote site supervision for construction sites or precast yards, and is targeted to be finalised by June/July 2021, to be issued in September.
