WES 2021 - Engineering Towards a Post-pandemic Sustainable World: Call for Papers
A focal point for ideas, research findings, and best practices, WES 2021 will address a range of critical issues related to how engineering can contribute towards sustainability in a pandemic and post-pandemic world. Members are invited to submit presentation papers in the following areas: Sustainable Living Through Technology; Future Engineering and Industry 4.0; AI and Digitalisation; Sustainable Urban Mobility; Engineering Education; Impact of New Technologies on Productisation; Safety and Human Factors Practice. PUB BIM e-Checker Training: 29 Oct (Fri), 9.30am - 12.30pm
PUB is planning to conduct a PUB BIM e-Checker training for IES members at the stated date and time via teleconference. The training will include the following: 1. Overview of IFC 2. Introduction to PUB BIM e-Checker portal 3. Hands-on modelling (Revit) to input information and exporting to IFC (One sample rule from COPSSW, COPSWD, SS636 each) 4. Reviewing of result on PUB BIM e-Checker portal Note: - Participants to have license and software installed - Preferably multi-monitor to facilitate hands-on - Materials will be shared to confirmed attendees (including slides and Revit models for hands-on) Kindly register for an account HERE to facilitate the training.
