Singapore clinches top honours in WFEO 2018 Young Engineers Competition

Flying the Singapore flag high this National Day is IES Council Member and Deputy Chairman of the Young Engineers Committee, Dr Victor Sim!

Dr Sim, together with his teammates from NEWRIComm, helped to provide clean water access for Don Bosco School, HIaing Thar Yar (Myanmar) and its community, through an IoT-enabled, solar-powered reverse osmosis system and sustainable operating models in partnership with the locals.

His project was chosen as the winner for the WFEO 2018 Young Engineers Competition from more than 140 submissions. Furthermore, his project is also the only one chosen for oral presentation during the Global Engineering Congress in London this October.

The project was supported by the Lien Foundation.

Inter-Professional Games (IPG) 2018 Recruitment

It's time for the annual sporting showdown between the accountants, architects, doctors, engineers, lawyers, and the surveyors and valuers once again! For the 2018 edition, two new sports will be added: Darts and Futsal.
