Introduction This is the other long standing committee and, like the Civil and Structural Engineering Technical Committee, is heavily involved in government committees and advising in practice matters.
Besides the building and infrastructure-oriented M&E matters, the committee is also concerned with more general applications of mechanical and electrical engineering such as plant maintenance and electrical generation and distribution.
Objective - To provide a forum for M&E engineers to meet, discuss and promote topics of common interest.
- To provide a platform for M&E engineers to have dialogue with, make representation to and provide feedback to authorities.
- To promote active participation by M&E members in activities and representation in both internal and external committees.
