I. Application for Certification
Upon meeting the full requirements as stipulated in the set of criteria agreed to by the SCEM Monitoring Committee, a candidate may apply for SCEM certification at the Associate and Professional levels using the Application Form which can be either obtained in hardcopy from IES or downloaded here.
Upon successful application, a Certificate of Registration will be issued.
Please note that the SCEM Certificate is valid for three (3) years whereupon renewal application shall be submitted at least 2 months before its expiry date with the relevant documentation.
SCEM Register will be administered by the SCEM Registry and updated periodically.
II. Awards and Renewal of the SCEM Certificate
The SCEM Registry’s decision to award and renew the SCEM certificate is final.
It is not obligated or bound to give any reason whatsoever for not awarding or renewing the SCEM certificate.

IV. Application Processes
Total Fees (inclusive of GST) is $299.60 for 3 years or $171.20 for 1 year. Total fees comprises of :
- Application Fee (One Time, Non-Refundable)
- $100.00 (Before GST) + $7.00 (GST) = $107.00

V. Processing Time
Under normal circumstances, if the submissions are complete and in order, the applicants will be informed of the outcome within 2 to 3 months.
